Our father is Lebanese. Our mother is Brazilian from Curitiba, Brazil. Growing up, our home was filled with family, charcoal-grilled food, football, music, and warm hospitality.
Those memories became Tio Pelé.

As kids, we proudly wore Brazil’s yellow jersey.
During a visit to Saudi Arabia in the 1980s, our family had the unforgettable opportunity to meet Pelé. Watching him sign our soccer balls and greet everyone with such warmth is a memory we’ll never forget.
That moment inspired more than a name — it inspired a way of bringing people together.
Brazil gave us charcoal grilling, tropical flavors, fresh juices, football, and celebration.
Lebanon gave us warm hospitality, bold flavors, and the tradition that every meal brings people together.
At Tio Pelé, those two cultures share one table.
“Tio” means “Uncle” in Portuguese.
To us, Tio Pelé represents joy, humility, family, and bringing people together. Those are the same values we strive to share every day — through our food, our hospitality, and the way we welcome every guest.
